22nd Annual Covina Invitational
This year's Covina Invitational will be taking place on Saturday, March 30th at WEST COVINA HIGH SCHOOL. We again expect a full field of teams and events to give spectators one of the best meets in the San Gabriel Valley. Over 50 schools are represented and 2,000 athletes compete in one of the most fun and competitive meets in the area. Coach's information can be downloaded to the right.
Covina Invite a Huge Hit!
From the entertaining announcer, the BBQ snack bar, the nice weather, and the great competition, there wasn't much more to ask for in the 21st Annual Covina Invitational. Things went smoothy and the meet was once again a huge success for all those involved. The CHS girls team took 2nd place behind Corona High School. Ashli Baddorf led the team and broke the girls varsity 1600m school record with a time of 5:27.64! Belle Chiu won the 300H with a seasonal best and Emily Sanchez also fared well winning the 100H and placing in the long jump and triple jump. (results to the right)
